It's sometimes fun to experiment a little. I applied some gold leaf to this little still life. Having a background in watermedia, I have mixed different elements together to create depth and texture, so I wondered how it would look to add a little gold to this canvas. Who says you can't jazz up an oil painting?!
The result is a mixed media partnership between paint and metal, giving the strawberry a little more glitz!
